SAP Application Consulting

Applications wise I can take the following resplonsibilities:

  • Implementation of SAP R/3, including roll-out of corporate solutions to other business units.
  • Upgrade to a newer version af SAP R/3, also from R/2.
  • Spot consulting, which is focused effort typically over a relatively short time period to improve the processes or the use of SAp R/3. This could be improvements to the planning process, or improvements to inventory key figures.
  • Training of consultants, projet team members or end users.

This is primarily within:

·        PP: Production Planning

·        MM: Materials Management

·        CO-PC: Product Costing

Solution Architect, Project Manager

I have at several projects had the overall responsibility for the design of the solution and the integration internally within the different logistics areas as well as to finance and controlling.

I have also had the role as project manager at several international projects.

Supply Chain Performance Check

Focus is on “taking the temperature” of the different parts of the supply chain, purchasing, production and distribution.

Focus will in each area be on the data validity, planning stability as well as agility. .

Data validity

If the master data being used by MRP are not reliable and realistic then the MRP system will work as a ”garbage multiplier” rather than an efficient tool in planning.

Increased activity on expediting / firefighting requires increasing resources just to maintain a decent flow of, not only internally but also at suppliers and customers. The validity of your master data will be analyzed.

Planning stability
Inside the procurement lead-time the planning has to be very stable, it’s generally too late to do much except canceling of orders. This area will be analyzed.

Planning flexibility

Also the capabilities of the organization as well as the planning environment will be analyzed. In today’s business this flexibility is often an order winner, and it is also the opposite of the planning stability.
